The guide to Lyoko's towers
| | Welcome to a new file exclusive to CodeLyoko.Fr. It's the work of Icer and is a sort of guide to Lyoko's Towers.
How does it work? Icer has studied seasons 1 to 3 (and then in season 4, Lyoko is no longer the same and no tower seems identical to any in the first 3 seasons) and catalogued all the towers seen. As some towers appeared in multiple episodes, that allowed us to identify them.
What for? This file could serve as inspiration to fanfiction authors wanting to take advantage of certain topographical elements of the Lyoko in the series. Otherwise, simply for the fun of it.
This guide also shows that, although there are only supposed to be 10 towers per Sector, in reality the series shows us more than that.
Welcome to the guide to towers. | | |

In episode #27, this tower is therefore the first activated by XANA after the Sectors are remodelled. Ironically, it's seen behind a landscape that's strikingly similar to the final tower activated on the old Lyoko, in a previous episode... Coincidence?
This tower was deactivated in episode #37 although it wasn't the tower that was originally activated! |

Anecdote(s):
The first tower activated by XANA! Undoubtedly also the one that has remained activated for the longest duration. With this very tower, the virus seems to have launched several attacks.
There was also apparently an enormous fail with this tower right off the bat of the second episode. The first shot showed us a tower that had changed position. The second visual placed the tower back in the "right place", but showed us a second tower located just to the side which was the place where the tower was seen in the previous shot! Also, it appeared that this tower is also a Way Tower between the Ice and the Forest.
In following shots, the tower is back in its "second place". |
