Between working on two fanarts, Nelbsia found the time to be the first player in the world to kick some Scyphozoa butt in the Code Lyoko Social Game, which has been immortalized in a fanart. And two other works of art come to complete the sequence of drawings for the Code Lyoko Overpowered fanfiction. And finally, CodeLyoko.fr asked Nelbsia to create a sequence of work. Two of these illustrate the pages of the characters Tyron and Jim for Evolution. And another little fanart... of which we will talk about more below.
Our American artist continues also to make great progress. After having seen Odd in company of Mewtwo, you can now see him with Aelita, fists ready in a oriental background. You will also find the wonderful 10 years of Code Lyoko banner and a funny, little fanart of Odd.
We will conclude with the Australian webmaster-translator-artist of our site! Between the translation of the site, the translation of the Chronicles, the graphic touch ups to the images from the novels, her life and so forth, she still finds the time to draw a bit. She is formidable! Here is her creation for the 10 years of Code Lyoko!
Of course, we have updated all the galleries on the respective pages. We are only left to reveal Nelbsia's last fanart. It was asked for by CodeLyoko.fr. She is in link with the project of the Chronicles, the series of novels in which we see Jeremy on Lyoko. Hello everyone.
The Sydnicat des Producteurs des Films d'Animation (Syndicate of Animated Films Producers) has just, via the site animation-france.fr, published a newsletter on the latest news in the world of animation. The ideal opportunity to put down a little information on Moonscoop, its different franchises, and especially the ones that interest us, Code Lyoko and Code Lyoko Evolution. In our great wall of text, you will find a lot of information that your super Code Lyoko site (i.e. US!) has already relayed to you such as the arrival of Code Lyoko Evolution in Greece and Italy.
Here's the link to the article. Here, we've translated the extracts concerning Moonscoop and Code Lyoko, so that you don't have to go through the whole article.
"Moonscoop has finalised agreements with Clan TVE and Canal Panda on the airing of seasons 1 and 2 of Chloe Magique. The series The Fantastic 4 was bought by France 4 and by the new German children's channel Yep. The renewals of seasons 1 to 3 of Code Lyoko and the acquisition of Code Lyoko Evolution were negotiated with RAI Gulp and the pre-purchase of Burney's Odyssey with Rai Yoyo. In Finland, MTV3 renewed rights to Geronimo Stilton 2, and Teletoon Poland renewed Tara Duncan and Titeuf. In Sweden, SVT bought season 2 of Casper's Scare School and, in Greece, Megachannel launched Code Lyoko and Chloe Magique in September. In the USA, Moonscoop sold The World of Todd and Dive Olly Dive to Qubo. The Hispanic channel Somos TV renewed Ava Riko Teo for Central America."
"In Asia, Moonscoop signed a global deal with the telecommunications company Viettel on the entire catalogue (1200 half-hours) available in Vietnam. Elsewhere, Disney Korea and Korea Telecom Hitel bought the rights to season 2 of Chloe Magique and a package deal was reached with TrueVisions in Thailand for 350 half-hours of programmes (Titeuf, Bunny Maloney, Ava Riko Teo, Dive Olly Dive, Gasp, The Davincibles...)."
Note in the paragraph here that Code Lyoko's arrival in Vietnam may be soon!
"(...) season 2 of Jungle Book (52x11') by Moonscoop and DQ Entertainment (...) will be launched on TFou during the 2013/2014 season"
"BRB Internacional and Moonscoop concluded a deal reciprocating their catalogues in VOD and as digital media. BRB will manage Moonscoop's properties on the Iberian Peninsula and the Spanish-speaking territories, Moonscoop will manage BRB's in France and in French-speaking territories."
"Bangoo's SVOD application, by Moonscoop, is now present in the main Android stores. It's also promoted and shipped on children's Lexibook and Teknofun tablets."
"Sold in more than a hundred territories, Geronimo Stilton is a partnership between Atlantyca Entertainment and Moonscoop, with Rai Fiction, France Télévisions and M6."
And there you go! A long list that really proves that the Moonscoop Group is still going strong, despite what we've heard from the media in the past months. On the subject of the famous quarrel within Moonscoop that has been relayed through the press in recent months... The newsletter also has a paragraph on that:
"The production and distribution group Moonscoop is in receivership since the 20th of June. Benoît and Christophe di Sabatino were dismissed on the 31st of July from their respective duties as a member of the Supervisory Board and CEO. They remain employees of the company. In early August, the Commercial Court of Paris has expanded the powers of the administrator in charge of the company, Mister Gérard Philippot, so that he may become its representative."
In other words, contrary to what some overzealous people have been peddling, the Di Sabatino brothers are still active in the Moonscoop company. Company which isn't doing too badly. The stir in recent months is indeed a conflict between shareholders of internal nature.

Chronicle of a translation #2

Hello everyone!
After we officially kicked off the Chronicles translation project in English last week with book 1, in modestly excellent quality, the project now moves into a weekly release schedule! The heroes' epic adventure now continues on CodeLyoko.fr through the Code Lyoko Chronicles' second book: "The Nameless City".
Still working with Rhys Davies' translations, converted into PDF format and finished off by the "Chronicle of a translation" team, we continue on. To celebrate the release of book 2, we're releasing three chapters... To be precise, the Introduction, Prologue and chapter 1 of book 2.

For those who've never held one of the Chronicles in their hands, we can assure you that the following steps have been taken to make sure that our final product looks as much like the real thing as possible:
- A layout that's almost identical to that in the original novels. - Use of fonts in the original novels. - The presence of (when the time comes) coloured illustrations in high quality that have been adapted into English. - The presence of icons at the start of every chapter, scanned from the Italian versions and retouched for an optimal rendering.
Finally, we remind you of the section of the site that's completely dedicated to the Chronicles. You can notably find there a gallery containing images from the first three books and which will be updated later on with illustrations translated into English as we get to them, as well as images from book 4 while the French get their weekly updates on their side of the site. Speaking of, our French colleagues are of course working on translating book 4 at the same time, available on the French version of this news post. Follow Jim!

The findings of Dude Dudu #50 !

Good evening everybody!!!
50th edition!!!! 50 already! So, what's up for this 50th findings of the week? Great stuff? Those who were waiting for a party would be disappointed, others will be happy! 'cause yes! Even after nearly a year, Dude Dudu is still hiding some heavy stuff in his strongbox, locked and protected by two rottweilers, moving in armored car, itself with two snipers keeping an eye on it! (Am I overdoing it?)
And today, Dude Dudu is gonna give you a fine and flashy finding. They are actually the first drafts of Lyoko's Sectors and of the Digital Sea. These drafts enable the visualization andconceptualization of some places such as the intricate Sector 5 or the universe of the Network. A real treat for our eyes! They are also on the "Conceptuals" page, which is fuller than ever !
(Am I sadistic to have kept these treasures for almost a year?........Noooooooo, never! =D)
On top of that, in order to mark the occasion, here is a page that lists the 50 first findings. It makes the way to them easier to find, so you can get a specific finding or contemplate the whole of them. Follow this link to access the page (available in English)!

Hello everyone!
Today, we are happy to announce to you that Book 1 of the Code Lyoko Chronicles is now available translated and for download as a PDF in English!

In the future, you can expect a new chapter from Book 2 to come out each Monday in English. Stick around to finally be able to read these novels for the first time!
As for the site
Some other pages have been updated and translated pertaining to the Chronicles.
-Creation of the category "Books and Comics" page where you can find the Chronicles and comics in various languages. -Addition of a link to this category in the Chronicles section of the site, on the comics page and on the books page of the Related products section.
Two new pages in the Chronicles section!
-One page is called "Chronicle of a translation" which sums up the fanproject. There you will be able to also discover all of the fans who worked on the translation of the Chronicles for CodeLyoko.Fr and find out exactly what each of their roles was in the process. -The second new page is the Gallery page which contains an assortment of all the images we have from the novels. You can discover the wonderful art the novels have added to the Code Lyoko universe here.
From a more general standpoint, the entire Chronicles section has been updated.
By the way!
A new banner has been made in honor of the fanslation of the novels for the site! You see it at the top of this news post. Congratulations and thank you to Lénaelle for its creation. Starting from left to right, each character features a novel in the series from Book 1 to Book 4. The nationality of each character was also chosen based off of their names. And from left to right, the nationalities represent the order of release of the Chronicles in various languages. It's the perfect banner to celebrate this magnificent project and the international cooperation of the community.
We hope all this has made you happy... ...and that you will understand the amount of work this required! Because we worked our butts off for this!

Today we are going to talk about an alternate version. Do you remember the presentation videos of the available heroes' vehicles at the time of season 2 on Codelyoko.com? Well, there is actually an alternate version of these videos. The difference? These videos were released later than the first ones. Therefore, they contain more episode clips with our heroes in action on their vehicles than the first ones. Here are the alternate versions of the vehicle descriptions of the original versions below.

While we sometimes have a pizza to accompany an episode of Code Lyoko Evolution, for our neighbors in Italy, it's the other way around.
Indeed, the channel Rai Gulp just bought the rights to air Code Lyoko Evolution.
This info was relayed to us by Quentin Merabet, Ulrich's actor, via his Twitter.
As soon as we know more, rest assured that we'll let you know.

As the French were able to via the France 4 forum at the start of the year, it's now our Hungarian friends' turns to ask their questions to the actors in Code Lyoko Evolution! This event is organised by the MEGAMAX channel which is airing Code Lyoko Evolution in Hungary since this summer. It remains to be seen if the questions (and their answers) asked by the Hungarian fans are the same asked by the French fans!
Thanks to our new international version which has become deservingly active and functional...but especially thanks to our real-life network of fans around the world (USA, UK, Spain, Australia, Latin America...), as usual, CodeLyoko.fr will follow all the international news for you. It could be that, on occasion, the faint rhythm of the Subsonics can be heard on the air...if you know what I mean =P Thanks to SchRita, our favourite Hungarian teammate!
