Hey there! This week's our community's got talent only applies to the French side of the site, but we do have a couple of related things to offer you instead!
First off, with regards to last week's entry, we are now able to give you the translated versions of the instructions on how the Yumi season 4 and Aelita season 4 cosplays were created. Unfortunately all the tutorials they refer to are in French, but their explanations can give you a head start on making your own cosplay.
Secondly, a word on the Gems section. Since all the fanfictions on it currently are in French, we need English ones to replace them on our side of the site. I'm pleased to tell you that we're getting plenty of suggestions on our dedicated Tumblr page (codeenglish) and we should have some English fanfiction writers in the Gems section sometime soon!
Have a good evening!

Our actors take a vacation!

Hello everyone!
It's summertime and our actors have taken a vacation. A chance for the most glamourous couple in the Lyokosphere to get out a bit to the countryside. This article is from the local newspaper, Nice Matin, in its issue on Wednesday morning, August 14th! Click on the image below to access the article:
Here is an English translation: Title: Summer escapade for 3 actors Picture caption: "Frédéric Poma presents the castle to the three actors." (Photo Sy. C.) From the Tran family, here is the father, Jean-Claude... He played, among others, in "La vérité si je mens 3" alongside José Garcia and Bruno Solo. His children are not outdone, though, considering that Mélanie takes one of the main roles in the series "Code Lyoko" that can be seen on France 4 and Canal J. As for Quentin, his role in "Inquisitio", that the viewers were able to discover several months ago on TV, has already made him into a well-known young man! All three of them are on vacation for several days in the city of violets, received by Frédéric Poma, their guide. The vacationers didn't miss out on the charm of the old, flowered roads pathed out under the shade. "This is a wonderful village," commented Jean-Claude Tran. "The art of living well is conserved here, between sea and mountain, I understand why directors have placed their cameras here." The actor who arrived from Saigon at the age of 12 spent his time within cinema and the theatre; he has a film project in mind for the fall. "I've written the plot: it's a story of meeting and of love. The main female role will be taken by the singer and actress Elsa Lunghini... But for this, I lack the necessary funds, so anyone who wants to give some money is welcome. They will each be associated with the production of this film that I think has a good future." Before heading back to the studios for a busy fall schedule, the three actors savored the beauty and the calm of the village. Sylvie Carbou To learn more, visit www.jeanclaudetran.fr
The article has, of course, been added to the Press page, as well as the two "Actor" pages for Quentin Merabet and Mélanie Tran. Little error: Note that the article is a bit confusing, presenting Quentin as a member of the Tran family, which is not the case.
Have a fun summer and great vacation everyone.

A new pack for all 97 episodes is on the French iTunes store

Hello everyone. Moonscoop has just released a new pack on the French iTunes store. You can now purchase the entirety of Code Lyoko (the original cartoon) in French. All the episodes from Code Lyoko were already available on iTunes before. However, it had been relatively expensive to purchase them all then since the individual episodes cost 1,49€ a piece (144€ in total) and the 4 packs for each season cost an added 78,94€ (Season 1, 2, and 4 at19€99 ; Season 3 at 14€99 ; and the prologue at 3€98).
This new pack has a group price of 49,99€ for all 97 episodes. The episodes are available at their max quality: 480p sans logo. This price is very reasonable and will maybe persuade some of you to take the plunge and buy this new pack given that it is the cheapest option yet to purchase the entirety of the French episodes, even cheaper than buying all the French DVDs.
Good evening everyone. After having been really occupied with some certain episodes released in a certain country and regarding a certain savory French dish, we finally have some more time on our hands. So, it's time to get back to our English version which was released during quite a "rush hour." This time, we'll really set to work and set off to accelerate the translation of pages. Which means~
WE NEED YOU FOR THE US ARMY !!
Yes! You are being drafted! To keep this organized, we've opened up a new section on the forum dedicated to the English side. The idea is as follows. Obviously, the site has a team of English translators. However, the amount of work is enormous. We are asking if you would so kindly participate in proofreading the translation of some pages. It's up to you whether or not you wish to help out. You can give an hour or two of your time to work on a little page, or if you are really interested, go ahead and take up a whole section. Either way, every flood adds to the raindrop! Err, I mean, every raindrop adds to the flood...
The translation of pages follows these 3 steps: 1) Translation to English by a French fan 2) Proofreading by an English fan 3) Put online by a member of the cl.fr team
Since you are a native English speaker, your job will be the second step. But know that your proofreading help is extremely important and appreciated! It is much, much easier and quicker for us to procede this way. It is better for the site team to have extra hands proofreading the "frenglish" of our French amis to more natural English than for the small English-speaking team to translate each page one by one all alone.
And hey! There are many more English speakers capable of editing "frenglish" than those who can translate the French words into English. So yeah, hop on board, join the party!
You'll also have the chance to help some French people learn English ;) which is always cool!
If you wanna help out, you can find the pages to be proofread here, and you can post your proofreadings there as well, or on the cl-evolved forum right here!
Thanks everybody!

Hello to all!
After the 360° models of monsters, Aelita and Yumi in season 1 costume, Odd and Ulrich season 1 and Aelita and Yumi season 4, here are the three final 360° models: Odd, Ulrich and finally DarkWilliam in season 4 costume.
As you can see, in William's model, he has his season 3 sword, but why? The response is simple. Contrary to the other costumes that were created for season 4, Dark William's was created to appear in the final episode of season 3, during his brief appearance after the destruction of Lyoko. He didn't need his "Darksword," which is why this 360° model of William (for his minor appearance in episode 65) shows Dark William with the real William's sword.
And finally, to top it all off, 9 new background arts from season 4 of Code Lyoko!
Have a nice afternoon on codelyoko.fr

Hello.
A cool programme today. A small return to the Cosplay page. We have added photos from another cosplay! It's a cosplay made in the USA by Bassoonist From Hell. Admire the artist's work!
Next, a little graphics work to do with the site.
You know that our site stands out because of, among other things, its very unique illustrations (such as on the homepage, icons, etc...). This demands a monstrous amount of work, but we always ask our talented graphic artists to help us decorate the site in an original and unique manner, not just with images or renders from the series.
As you also know, we're in the middle of attacking the creation of the Code Lyoko Evolution Section. We're also starting to think about our system of decoration. We've asked Nelbsia to lend us a brush stroke for the Characters rubric. The rubric isn't yet open (or even written T-T), but the illustrations are starting to arrive.
Remember that Nelbsia created these for the Code Lyoko Characters pages:
Here are the images adapted for Code Lyoko Evolution:
There you have it, come back soon for the opening of the CLE section... On CodeLyoko.fr

Hey everybody !
Big stuff on the english part of CodeLyoko.fr today. We completely translated the section "Gems of Net". Remember ? This section identify the best artists and writers of the net. Through it, you can also discover the most beautiful fanarts about Code Lyoko ! We just translated the "Artists" part of the section. The "Writers" frame is still a "Coming Soon", since english-speakers cannot read french Fanfictions ! But we gonna soon add some of the best english Fanfictions ! Be sure !
We're guiding you minute by minute towards August 2nd. For those following the release of the Hungarian episodes, tomorrow the 26th and last episode of Code Lyoko Evolution's first season will air... Which means we've reached the end of the new episodes.
Still, for those following the spoilers, you know that we've been adding for several days now the official episode summaries of Code Lyoko Evolution, the day before they air. We're also writing up the detailed summaries when we have the time (Thanks to Queen of Fairys for the summary and IDM4 for the translation.) Which means that at the time you're reading this, I just added the official summary of episode 26 "Ultimate Mission."
Take note though! While some official summaries give hints to the plot of an episode, the detailed summary rather describes an episode in its entirety, which means the reveleation of the end of season 1. In other terms, for those who looooove spoilers, head to the Episode Guide to read this detailed summary.
Those who don't wish to be spoiled... Do not look at the comments of this news... =P And avoid the spoiler tags on the forum. We can only suggest that you try some raclette ;)
Discover the end of Code Lyoko Evolution... In a global advance-premiere on CodeLyoko.fr !
